I love my camera. Honestly, if I could jam it into my purse, my camera would be my constant companion. There is something magical about how my camera captures the world. It has this incredible ability to focus on something beautiful in the midst of crazy chaos, and freeze the scene. It focuses on design and magnificence that I miss when just looking through the viewfinder. My camera humbly amazes me on a regular basis.
I have always loved photography, but it wasn’t something I ever considered pursuing. I was captivated by the process as well as the product, but could never see myself being more than a spectator. All that changed in February 2008, when my soon-to-be husband, being the wise and discerning man that he is, saw something in me I had yet to discover, and surprised me with my first legitimate camera. Since then, I have spent millions of hours learning the behind-the-scenes aspects to photography, and after much time, have come to the realization that I really have only begun this journey. The more I learn, the more I realize how much more there is to discover, a fact that excites and terrifies me at the same time.
Currently, I am building a portfolio, hoping to refine my work into something worth showing off to others. If you are interested in additional information about my work, please feel free to drop us a line through the contact page!
